Racecar Champion Justin Piscitell
Appears with his MAZDA MX-5 Racecar
at STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way… in Norwalk, CT
on Wednesday, July 29 at 10am

Professional racecar driver Justin Piscitell will make a special appearance at STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way… a community facility for individuals with developmental disabilities located at 182 Wolfpit Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m. The racecar driver will appear with a MAZDA MX-5 racecar, similar to the one he drives in the SCCA Pro Racing MX-5 Cup Championship. Mr. Piscitell has selected STAR as his designated charity, and he will display the STAR logo on his racecar.

Participants of STAR will be able to view the racecar and meet Mr. Piscitell, who will appear in his full racing uniform – a “MAZDASPEED” emblazoned suit and helmet supplied by Sparco. Mr. Piscitell will tour the STAR facility, meet participants of different programs, sign autographs, and share racing experiences and plans for the coming year .

Mr. Piscitell recently won the Mazda MX-5 Shootout, earning a full-season ride in the 2009 SCCA Pro Racing Playboy MX-5 Cup. He also won the inaugural Skip Barber MAZDASPEED Challenge Championship in 2008. The Piscitell family of Weston are longtime supporters of STAR, currently serving on the planning committee for the 2009 Galaxy of STARS Dinner Dance and Auction on November 14, 2009 at Woodway Country Club in Darien. Mrs. Piscitell has served on the Board of Directors and several STAR committees.
